Regina Crosby, our OneWhale co-founder has had an incredible week, with successful discussions with the Norwegian government officials to create the world’s 1st open water whale sanctuary. This has been made possible with the expertise and support of world class experts of marine mammals in the wild. This will make a critical difference, not only to the One Whale we have been campaigning to provide safety and sanctuary for, also other marine mammals including Belguas who need a sanctuary. Following marine parks giving up their mammals around the world in the wake of the Covid-19 lockdown and a changing attitude to marine parks for entertainment Norway’s lead in creating this world’s 1st is something we are incredibly proud to be a part of.
